What trysolara.art stores when you shorten a link or open one: anonymous device identifiers, coarse visit data, and how advertising is handled.
1. Our approach
trysolara.art works without accounts, so we hold no names, emails or passwords for users of the site. We collect the minimum needed to operate short links and report their traffic.
2. When you create a link
We store the destination URL, the short slug, the chosen protection mode, a hashed form of any link password, a management token, and an anonymous device identifier generated in your browser.
The device identifier lets us show you your own links and their statistics. It is a random value; it does not identify you personally and it never leaves your browser except to fetch your own links.
3. When someone opens a link
We record a coarse event: whether it was a visit or a password unlock, the browser family, the device type, the operating system, the country, and the timestamp.
We do not store full IP addresses, precise location, or a cross-site browsing profile of visitors.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for the anonymous device identifier. We do not use tracking cookies of our own. See the Cookie Policy for details.
5. Advertising
Pages on trysolara.art may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can review and change your advertising preferences in Google's Ads Settings, and residents of some regions are offered a consent choice before personalised ads are shown.
6. Retention and deletion
Link records and their events are kept while the link exists. Deleting a link from the My Links section removes the link and all of its events.
7. Contact
Privacy questions and deletion requests go to legal@trysolara.art.
